At MIO MAHJ, we're putting our own little spin on traditional mahjong!

Our tiles are created using modern 3D-printing technology, giving them a uniquely lightweight feel while bringing our original designs to life.

They're a little different from the heavier tiles you may be used to, and that's part of what makes them MIO MAHJ!

A Little Love Goes Into Every Layer 💗

Every MIO MAHJ tile starts right here in Oklahoma, where we 3D print each one using PETG filament.

Why PETG? Because we wanted our tiles to be more than just pretty!

We wanted them to be lightweight, durable, buoyant, and ready for wherever your mahjong adventures take you!

While PLA is a more common and easier-to-print material, we chose PETG because of its improved heat resistance, durability, and suitability for everyday use.

Whether you're gathering around the kitchen table, enjoying a beautiful afternoon on the patio, or playing a little poolside mahjong with your favorite people, we wanted our tiles to be ready for the fun!

And yes, our tiles float! 💦

Just keep in mind that while they're buoyant, they aren't waterproof. A little splash is one thing, but we don't recommend leaving them submerged or soaking in water.

Our tiles are also designed to be more resilient than standard PLA tiles in warmer environments, but prolonged direct sunlight and extreme heat should still be avoided to keep them looking their best.

Bringing the Pretty to Life! 🎨

Once our tiles finish printing, the real magic begins!

Each tile makes its way to our UV printer, where multiple layers of UV-cured ink bring our original artwork to life.

This process allows us to create the colorful, detailed designs that make every MIO MAHJ collection special.

But we don't stop there!

We finish each tile with a layer of UV-cured protective varnish to help protect the artwork from everyday handling, shuffling, and playing.

It's our way of combining a little modern technology with a whole lot of creativity!

Keeping Your Tiles Pretty 💕

Our tiles are made for playing, but just like anything pretty, they appreciate a little TLC!

Cleaning them is easy. A soft cloth with mild soap and water is usually all you need to keep them looking fresh. Just wipe them clean rather than soaking them, and dry them afterward.

For a little extra cleaning, a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free cloth can help. We recommend testing a small area first and avoiding prolonged contact.

Just skip the abrasive scrubbers, steel wool, and harsh cleaning tools. The protective finish helps with everyday wear, but it can still be scratched.

We want those pretty designs to stay pretty for lots of mahjong memories to come!

Made Just for You, One Set at a Time! 📦

Here's something we think makes MIO MAHJ extra special: we make your tiles when you order them!

Rather than keeping shelves full of finished sets, we create each order fresh, right here in our Oklahoma workshop.

Your tiles are printed, decorated, inspected, and carefully packaged before heading off to their new home.

And because each set is made especially for you, a little production time is part of the process!

Our estimated production timelines are:

Standard Sets: 3–5 days
Large Sets: 5–7 days
Extra Large Sets: 7–10 days

These are our estimated maximum production windows before shipping, not how long every order will take!

We always do our best to get your order made and on its way as quickly as possible. Depending on our production schedule, some Standard Sets may even be ready to ship the very next day!

Larger sets require additional printing and preparation time, so they need a little extra love.

Once your set is finished and packaged, we'll ship it out and send you tracking information so you can follow its journey home!
