The familiar elements of American Mahjong have been reimagined with artwork inspired by casinos, playing cards, iconic Las Vegas imagery, and the unmistakable energy of the Strip — including a Showgirl Joker and a Vegas-styled Soap. This collection was designed in-house specifically as a Las Vegas American Mahjong set — the suits, Winds, Jokers, Flowers, and tile backs were developed together so the whole set feels cohesive, not stock graphics placed onto generic tiles. The artwork is exclusive to MIO Mahj and isn't a mass-produced design available from other sellers.

- Drop resistance applies to normal gameplay and typical table-height falls. No product is completely indestructible; deliberate impacts or extreme conditions may damage the tiles or finish.
- Because each tile is individually 3D printed and UV printed, subtle layer lines or minor variations may occur — these are normal and make each set unique.
- Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting, and normal production variations.

Material, Printing & Finish
Each tile is produced from durable PETG, a strong thermoplastic selected for its toughness, impact resistance, and ability to withstand regular game play.
After the tile itself is produced, the artwork is applied directly to the surface using UV-cured ink. Unlike conventional inks that dry through evaporation, UV ink is cured almost immediately under ultraviolet light. The UV exposure causes the ink to harden and bond to the tile surface, creating a crisp, highly detailed print with excellent color definition.
Once the artwork has been printed and cured, we apply a protective high-gloss clear top coat over the finished design. This final layer adds depth and shine while providing an additional barrier over the printed artwork against normal handling, shuffling, rubbing, and everyday wear.
The finished construction is essentially a three-step process: PETG tile → UV-cured artwork → protective gloss top coat
The result is a tile designed to be both attractive and resilient, with the printed design protected beneath the clear finished surface rather than simply sitting exposed on top of the tile.
Because our tiles are manufactured from PETG rather than solid cast acrylic, they will feel somewhat different from traditional acrylic Mahjong tiles. PETG is generally lighter and has a slightly warmer, less glass-like feel in the hand. You may also notice subtle manufacturing layer lines or surface characteristics that are inherent to the production process. These are normal and are not defects.
The gloss coating gives the finished tiles a smooth, polished appearance and helps create a more refined hand feel while preserving the durability advantages of PETG.
Our goal is not to imitate acrylic exactly, but to produce a distinctive Mahjong tile that combines durability, detailed UV-printed artwork, a protective glossy finish, and a comfortable playing feel.
